Event Details

In recognition of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library is partnering with the 31:8 Project for a special book discussion in January 2025. Join us for this free event as we delve into In Pursuit of Love: One Woman's Journey from Trafficked to Triumphant - A True Story by Rebecca Bender - a powerful story that not only brings awareness to human trafficking but also inspires us to take action against it.

The event will start with a brief introduction, followed by a discussion with a survivor of human trafficking about this crucial topic, the myths surrounding it, and what signs to look for. There will also be a Q&A session where you can ask your questions and share your thoughts. Your participation is vital in our collective efforts to prevent human trafficking.

The event details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, January 7th, 2025

Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Location: Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library, Meeting Room A

You can check out In Pursuit of Love at the library or purchase it on Amazon. It is also available as an audiobook: https://ow.ly/Jkko50UbW6H. Reading this book is not required to attend this event, but it is highly recommended.

Education and awareness are our first steps toward change. Bring your thoughts, questions, and a friend or two, and actively participate in our efforts to bring more awareness to this terrible crime.
