The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first step in paying for college and every 2-year and 4-year school in North Dakota requires the FAFSA to qualify for federal and state financial aid and some scholarship opportunities. If you’re going to college in the 2024-25 school year, but haven’t filed your FAFSA, here is your chance! FAFSA filers should get their Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) 3 business days prior to this event, but if not, you can set it up at this event too.

What to bring:

  • FSA ID username and password or Social Security Number if no FSA ID
  • Asset information, such as:
    • Child support received
    • Net worth of farms or businesses
    • Net worth of investments, including real estate
