“If I Were Mayor” Essay Contest

What would you do if you were the mayor? This is your chance to share your ideas! Join us as we visit with Bismarck’s Mayor Schmitz and learn why he wanted to become mayor and what the role requires. There will be time to begin your “If I Were Mayor” essay. Information will be available if you choose to submit to the North Dakota League of Cities’ essay contest. Submissions are limited to 3rd and 7th grades, but this event is open to all K-5.
