Program Description

Event Details

Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health, in partnership with local service providers, community organizations, and volunteers, will be on-site at the library as one of the community location points for the annual Unsheltered Point in Time (PIT) Count. Volunteers will share resources, distribute supplies, and gather data regarding homelessness in our community.

The PIT Count is required by HUD and includes a short survey to collect basic demographics and data on persons who are unsheltered on a single night in January. Volunteers collect data used to secure grant funding and resources to assist individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.
