The Friends of the Bismarck Public Library will be holding a book sale in library Meeting Room A to coincide with the Summer Reading Program Kickoff Celebration outside on the plaza.
Join us for our annual summer reading kickoff! Our theme this year is Adventure Begins at Your Library, and that is certainly the truth.
Walk-in hours are times when library staff is present, and technology and gaming are available to use in HQ. During regular Library hours when walk-in times are not available, HQ will be available for individual or group study by teens in grades 6-12 by accessing a key from the Adult Information Desk. Teens are required to show a school or photo ID to Library staff in order to use the room. If teens do not have a school ID, they can ask to have one made by the Library staff. They should stop by the Children's Information Desk to inquire. Electronics and other select items are only available for check-out use during HQ walk-in hours when the room is monitored by Library staff or volunteers.
Children ages 10+ meet to build with LEGO bricks. Junior Makers ages 5-9 are welcome with a caregiver aged 12+. The Library has a collection of LEGO bricks and minifigures for children to use. Please leave your own at home.
Join Jennifer Lyn and Richard Torrance of the award nominated Blues-Rock band, Jennifer Lyn & The Groove Revival, as they host a "Music and Books" Series in collaboration with the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library.
